Agnes’s graceful styling of this 18th Century Manoir – cum-exclusive-country-house-hotel - pays homage to the grand elegance of “The Golden Age of French Style” and celebrates the design hallmarks of the era with gracefully curved furniture lines, exposed stone and ironwork, antique mirrors and distressed artefacts and murals.

The estate also boasts a private cottage, which Agnes has artfully decorated in the fuss-free, rustic, less opulent elegance of Country French Style to create an intimate, inviting living space.

I worked only with local craftspeople, artists and artisans, whose skills are an integral part of the rich fabric of the house and its surroundings.   Connecting to its history is important, but I wanted to create a sense of a living history and functionality for the house in its modern incarnation.”
